July 15, 2007 We finally have a new tune up.  Head on over to our myspace site and check out "Fadade".
June 15, 2007 I swear to God we will be done recording and mixing soon.  OK, so it is only for one song.  Still, expect a new tune within the next couple of weeks.  Hopefully.
February 24, 2007 Recording has taken us much longer than anticipated.  Part of this is due to the holidays and each others' vacation schedules, and part is due to dividing our time between practicing, recording, and auditioning, but most of it is from really trying to get everything right.  We are putting more effort into making this debut sound great than many other bands do for regular full-length albums.  We just hope that the final product is acceptable to our fans.  As of today, we have all the drum and bass tracks down, and most of  the guitar tracks (there are probably 10-15 guitar tracks alone for each song).  We have lead vocals recorded for one song, with backing vocals still undone.   There are also keyboard parts to consider, and those haven't even been written yet.  Needless to say, we are already starting to feel sorry for Graham Duncan, who will be our man for mixing.  The songs in the mix for the EP are Judgment, Fadade, Saint, Interconnected, Appetites, Circles, and Venus.
September 14, 2006 We hit the studio tonight to start recording our as of yet still untitled EP.  We're going to lay drum tracks for seven songs, and pick the best six of the bunch for the EP.  Stay tuned!
July 2, 2006 We debuted another new song at the NecroCon II Festival last night called "Judgment."  This was our first foray into the world of live electronic music.
June 11, 2006 We debuted a new song at the Bar Of Soap show last night called "Telepathic Confession."  We had taken a break for a couple months to work on some new material and think that at least one of the new songs will end up on our EP, which we anticipate starting the recording process for by the end of the summer.  Stay tuned!
February 15, 2006 We have redesigned the site, adding a home section that consolidates the latest important information, a merchandise section for when we start selling stuff, and a message board for when our fans want to chat with us or one another about whatever.  We also put up a clip of "Something Sacred" from our last show for those who wonder what we're like in a live setting.
December 17, 2005 We have played our first five shows and our last in 2005.  Please check back often for new show dates and show pictures and everybody have a safe and happy holiday season and New Year!
October 21, 2005 Okay, this constitutes further notice. We have finished mixing our third demo tune with Graham doing the honors again for us.  Head over to our sounds section and take a listen to "Blood Oranges."
October 11, 2005 Microcenter has taken a big dump on my computer, causing problems with the updating of this site. As a result, please check out our myspace location in order to stay updated until further notice.
August 24, 2005 We have finished mixing "The Becoming." We would like to thank Alex Gerst and the good folks at Indian Trail Studio profusely for their patience because we know we can be a real pain when it comes to mixing. You can hear the new song in our sounds section.
August 2, 2005 We are currently in the studio working on our second song that will be posted online. We're hopeful that we will have the song up for public consumption by the end of the month. In the meantime, whet your appetite on some studio video in our sounds section.
June 13, 2005 We have concluded our bass player search and are proud to bring aboard Matthew White. This should mean that we will actually be gigging sometime this millennium! As of now, we're shooting for gigs by late summer.
April 25, 2005 We have a finished mix for "Saint." Special thanks to Graham Duncan and his mixing services. for doing such a great job. We recommend him highly.
March 1, 2005 We continue to look for a bass player. If you know one who sounds like a fit or are a fit, please e-mail us at dss@deadseasouls.net.
February 9, 2005 We now have the final mix of our "Saint" demo up and available for download. Enjoy!
February 5, 2005 We have finally finished up with what we believe to be a serviceable mix of our first demo, a song entitled "Saint." We'll probably be changing the mix quite a few times until we get it as right as possible, so stay posted.
January 25, 2005 Dead Sea Souls now has 11 original songs, and is currently in the process of recording a demo, and finding a bass player and a keyboard player. They will begin performing live shows in the Dallas/Ft. Worth/Denton area, as soon as they find the right bass player and he/she has learned the songs. Keep your ears open for new songs, which will be made available for download within the next month or two.
November 12, 2007
Dead Sea Souls has disbanded and its members are now looking to pursue other projects.  The split was amicable and more information can be found on at our myspace location.

There will be no EP release, but we will finish one or two more songs and post them here and on myspace.

Thank you all for your support over the years.
